We currently have a vacancy for a Shift Warehouse Operative to join the Warehouse/Logistics team. Duties include;

• assembling component orders as required by production;
• issuing raw materials to manufacturing;
• collecting finished goods from production and preparing them for collection by our 3rd party distributor.

You will also be responsible for stock rotation, carrying out routine truck inspections, stock takes, returns and general warehouse duties. The role does involve some heavy lifting.

Candidates must have good communication skills, work well within a team and be able to demonstrate good use of initiative. To be successful you need to have a good head for figures, be able to complete documentation accurately, work under your own initiative and have an understanding of GMP and Health & Safety regulations. Previous warehouse experience is essential as is a fork lift truck license and knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).

This is a permanent position initially on a double day rotating shift pattern. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 06:00 – 13:36 on the morning shift followed by Monday to Thursday 13:30 – 22:00 and Friday 13:30 – 17:30 on the afternoon shift. Going forward you will need to be available to go on to a 3 shift rotation which will include morning and afternoons as above as well as one week on nights. This will be determined by the needs of the business. The night shift operates between Monday and Thursday 21:54 – 06:06 and Friday 17:24 – 22:36.
